Sector Collaboration

Nearly 2 out of 5 Singaporean marriages are transnational; these families are a vital part of our social fabric. Yet, many fall through the gaps of traditional support due to complex immigration statuses. The Inclusive Fund (TIF) provides a critical safety net offering interim aid for healthcare, education, and legal hurdles to ensure every child grows up in a secure home.
We invite like-minded organisations and fellow social service partners to collaborate with us. Through initiatives like our Transnational Family Care Centre's partnership with Pro Bono SG, we are able to provide integrated socio-legal support. TIF is committed to capacity building within the sector by providing specialised resources, toolkits, and interactive workshops. Together, we can navigate complex hurdles and empower our community to achieve long-term stability.
Bridging the Gap for Transnational Case Management
A Collaborative Workshop for Social Workers
We have curated a 2.5-hour interactive workshop designed specifically for social workers and practitioners. Together, we will co-create sustainable strategies to provide comprehensive, inclusive support for lower-income transnational families.
What we will cover:
-
Impactful Case Studies: Explore archetypes of common challenges and learn from successful socio-legal interventions.
-
Resource Navigation: Discover available funds and support networks specifically for foreign family members.
-
Long-term Strategies: Learn how to guide families toward stability, from improving immigration status to navigating legal complexities.
-
Be part of this collaborative session to strengthen your practice and ensure these families receive the holistic support they deserve.
